Suppose that the Bennet household had a communal shopping list tacked up on a wall somewhere. Very un-Jane Austen, I know, but it helps get my point across. Suppose that various family members wrote down what they wanted purchased, allowing us a glimpse into their lives. This is unfortunately a file, because WordPress’ selection of fonts is rather limited.
I hope you enjoy it! I love playing around with fonts, so this was fun to write.
Yours, etc.
Miss Elizabeth
Postscript: The idea for this came from another Austen Blog, Lost Opinions. Mark, who runs it, has several post like “If only they had email”in which he imagines the contents of Darcy and Elizabeth’s inboxes. I got the idea for this post from “Mrs. Bennet’s Search History“.
This was awesome!!! 😀 I loved the lace part. 🙂

“I beg you, Mrs. Bennet, no lace!” is quite possibly my favourite quote. Right up there with “You have no respect for my nerves!”
